Development Services

The Development and Environmental Services Department is primarily based at Council’s Kempton Office, located at 85 Main Street, Kempton. The Department plays an important role in supporting sustainable development, protecting community health and wellbeing, and ensuring compliance with relevant planning, building, environmental and regulatory requirements across the municipality.

Key responsibilities include land use planning and development assessment, environmental health, building and plumbing regulatory control, and animal management.
