Southern Midlands Council - Provision of Kerbside Waste Collection Services

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced companies to provide kerbside waste collection services (including kerbside recycling) to the Southern Midlands Municipality and for the supply and distribution of mobile garbage bins, and mobile recycling bins.

Tenderers may bid on:

1) Provision of kerbside waste collection services and the supply and distribution of mobile garbage and mobile recycling bins; or

2) Provision of kerbside waste collection services only; or

3) The supply and distribution of new mobile garbage bins and mobile recycling bins only

Tender documents can be obtained and must be electronically submitted at the Southern Midlands Council

Notice is hereby given that applications have been made to Council under the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993 for the use or development of land as follows:

Location: 475 Sugarloaf Road, Dysart
Proposal: DA2018/25 – Dwelling

Location: 59 Swan Street, Bagdad
Proposal: DA2018/23 – Outbuilding

Location: 3001 Midland Highway, Kempton
Proposal: DA2018/30 - Demolition of dwelling, Drive through coffee shop and vehicle access and parking works

The relevant plans and documents are available for inspection at the Development & Environmental Services Office at 85 Main Street, Kempton and the Oatlands Council Chambers at 71 High Street, Oatlands during normal office hours for a period of 14 days. Notice is hereby given that the Ordinary Meeting of Council previously advertised for Wednesday, 25th April 2018, has been re-scheduled to Tuesday, 24th April 2018 at the Bagdad Community Club, 1661 Midland Highway, Bagdad commencing at 10.00 a.m.  Public Question Time will be held at 12.30 p.m.
