
Southern Midlands Council is taking the threat of climate change seriously. Council has developed a detailed Action Plan to tackle climate change which includes actions to: improve its own energy efficiency; provide up to date information to the community; advise farmers on effective ways to cope with a drying environment; and assist the community with renewable energy options. SOLAR HOT WATER
BULK PURCHASING DEAL FOR SOUTHERN MIDLANDS RESIDENTS
Southern Midlands Council is currently negotiating with several suppliers to get a solar hot water discount deal. At this stage a 12% discount looks possible.
