The Southern Midlands Council in accordance with provisions contained in the Local Government Act 1993 have adopted a Councillor Code of Conduct.
The Code of Conduct is designed to assist Councillors deal with ethical and behavioural problems which may be encountered whilst carrying out their roles and functions as elected representatives of Council.
