Callington Mill is a 19th century Lincolnshire tower windmill that has been restored to full working order. It is the only working example of its type in the Southern hemisphere.
We produce and supply artisan flours to bakeries, restaurants and the general public to create products with a unique provenance.
A warm welcome awaits you in our Visitor Centre, which includes a full retail area and cafe.
Guided tours of the Callington Mill Precinct and tours of the town of Oatlands are also available.

The Southern Midlands Council was created on the 2^nd April 1993 through the merging of the Municipalities of Oatlands, Green Ponds, the Northern ward of Brighton and Central and Northern wards of Richmond. The municipality has a population of approximately 5800 persons scattered throughout a district, which has a predominantly rural based economy. Many examples of 19^th century architecture, including grand old rural homesteads and many examples of convict build cottages can be seen within the Municipality.  Oatlands boasts that it has the largest number of preserved Georgian buildings in one rural area.
